Light cured dental filling is the use of light cured resin materials to repair missing teeth. The process is as follows:
1. Remove the decay on the surface of the tooth defect and perform mechanical preparation. Once the tooth is contaminated, the naked eye cannot distinguish which layer of the tooth the contamination has entered. Usually, a portion of the surrounding healthy tooth tissue needs to be ground down, which is called preventive expansion in academia.
2. The enamel surface shall be etched. After etching, it shall be dried and moisture isolated, and then coated with dentin adhesive. After 20 seconds of light curing, it shall be filled with light cured resin for molding. After 20~60 seconds of light curing, it shall be mixed, polished and polished to complete the whole process of photochemical repair.
Light cured composite resin is a commonly used filling and repairing material in oral medicine. It has a beautiful color, certain compressive strength, good wear resistance, and high strength. If used for filling teeth, it can also chew harder foods without adverse reactions.
The performance of UV cured materials is good, and the color is very close to the natural color of teeth. The restored teeth have a natural and beautiful color and shape. It should be noted that food should not be consumed immediately after light curing dental restorations, as the clinical resin has not yet fully cured and requires a period of self curing (latent curing). Generally, this tooth should be used to bite things after 24 hours.
Light cured dental restorations are relatively common, and patients can choose to seek medical treatment at a reputable medical institution nearby. They should have a professional dentist conduct an examination and design a reasonable treatment plan.
